KENEDY – James A. “Jim” Falks, 76, of Kenedy, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005. He was born July 17, 1928, in Floresville, to the late James and Emma Metze Falks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired machinist for Kelly Air Force Base. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Kenedy. Survivors: wife, Mary Falks; daughter, Carol Ann Lowther of Chugiak, Alaska; sons, Jim Ed Falks and Joe Mark Falks, both of San Antonio, and John Kevin Falks of Gonzales; 16 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. Col., retired USAF veteran and reservist, serving in World War II. He was a graduate of Texas A&M earning a bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry.
